7ab Erasmus+ return visit from Slovenia

On Friday the 24th of March 2023 – the second day of our sustainibility project with the Slovenian students – our teacher Prof. Schmarda organised a dance class in cooperation with a friend of her son in order to introduce the Slovenians to the Austrian dance Schuhplatteln.
First he introduced us to the dance in general and showed us a video of the dance we were going to learn. After the introduction we went down to our school’s gym. He taught us the Austrian dance by splitting it into small steps which slowly formed the dance in its entirety. After some practice we were already able to roughly perform the whole dance. In the end of the dance class, we performed the dance three or four times in combination to the fitting music. We got better each try and could actually perform the dance in our last try pretty well.
To sum up, the dance class turned out to be a lot of fun and introduced us really well to the traditional Austrian dance Schuhplatteln.
